I thought Seigaku was:

• Clean, well kept


• Excellent education standards


• Tennis courts were fantasmic (ours at Higa are right on the beach, so they get beat up a lot)


• Love the uniform*
  




• There's just nothing better than a sharp looking student in a suit.




• Great teachers and learning resources on campus


• and there's nothing wrong with all of the hot guys girls on campus

*(ooc: I assume that the uniforms for the High School division is a black blazer & slacks, a white shirt, and a tie? Let's make it blue and red!)

So I got to Inui's house to find not only him there, but Yanagi-san's younger sister as well? Apparently there was no food in the house, save for some dashi. The four of us(little sister Yanagi's friend joined us) went on a gallant adventure to the super market and had a wonderful time. We picked up the basics, along with some fun stuff...

I'm going shopping with Hirakoba-kun tomorrow in Asakusa to get souvenirs.

I'm on a plane to Tokyo right now. I'm also very bored. The man next to me won't shut up about his wife and kids. I'm going to write 10 things about myself that no one else knows.

10. As much as I love to act flamboyant and dress fashionably, I have no desire for a boyfriend. Nor do I have a desire for a girlfriend.

07. Even though I'm from the islands, I hate surfing. Can't exactly wear glasses while doing it, and salt water always gets in your eyes which is disaster if you've contacts in. It kinda sucks if you're terribly blind.

06. Speaking about glasses, I've worn them since 3rd grade. So even now, I feel strange if I don't wear them. I like their weight on my nose. And plus, when I talk to people, it gives me something to do with my hands. I think it makes me look more imposing.

05. I've had the same hairstyle for 2 years. Because I can't think of another hairstyle.

04. I'm lactose-intolerant. I really, really get sick when I have even skim milk.

03. I really don't like violence, but I condoned it on my team for respect and fear of my authority.

02. The reason I'm left handed is because I broke my right hand in second grade. I just decided to write with my left hand and didn't stop. I'm actually ambidextrous.

01. When I'm at home, I always wash my hair out right away, and put it into a short ponytail. It really is that long, you just can't tell.

As promised, I'm posting my goya stirfry. I took the pictures with my keitai. (Cell Phone)

I went to the market yesterday, and bitter melons(goya) were on sale. ($1.25 a pound) Lucky me! So I thought...why not make something and share it with my friends on livejournal? I didn't have any recipe, I just made it with stuff I had around.

Apparently, goya are more bitter the riper they are. Mine was VERY ripe. The taste...erm.

(OOC: You know the skin of a green bell pepper? It tastes like that, only no refreshing aftertaste. It tastes good for about 1/100th of a second and then it tastes downright nasty. And then you take another bite, and it's less bad. By the time you're done with the dish, it's moderately pleasing.)

It's a very acquired taste, but I would go out and try one. It's way better than the various Inui juices. Has anyone else tried those? Aozu has parma cheese...

I'm sorry for not posting in awhile, but I've been busy doing applications for school next year. I've applied to Seigaku and Rikkai, but I haven't heard from either of them yet. I just got a packet in the mail from Seigaku. Turns out I got in :)

I fairly sure I want to play tennis next year as well, but I'm not sure. I wonder who'll captain the High School teams?

PS: Anyone from Seigaku, would you be interested in hosting me for a few days so I could tour the school? I'm scheduled for a tour on Friday, and I want to do some sightseeing on Saturday.

A few things on my mind.

1: Shopping this weekend was fun.
2: What the HELL is going on with Rikkai?
3: What am I doing for High School next year?
4: I'm getting island fever. I want to go somewhere...I feel very restless...you can only go so far on this island.

I forgot to mention yesterday, over Golden Week, I went to that eye clinic by school. Although I did want to get new frames, I wanted to go for a different look. Not that any of you noticed it in my goyaman pic...I got contacts!

One thing weird about them, I think you see sort of funny up close. Maybe that's just getting used to them...?

I sort of miss the weight of my glasses on my nose. I think I'll keep wearing them to school, but I believe contacts would be better when I'm playing  tennis.

I changed my icon to a picture of me sans glasses, to see if more people will notice.
I do love it when, some one comes up and says, "Something's different about you...did you get a haircut?" and it takes them awhile to notice what's different.

Oh, and Hirakoba-kun and I are going shopping this weekend. I want to get a new pencil case. My little sister accidentally stepped on my blue tin and it's dented now. :(

Did anyone else do anything fun for golden week?

For Boys Day I got a pocket watch and new tennis shoes from my parents. The watch is awesome; it has my name engraved on the back. Although I don't like my kanji too much...木手永四郎 seems so...bland. I feel like my personality deserves a more bold combination. The shoes fit perfectly! I absolutely LOVE getting new shoes.

I didn't go on holiday as everyone else did, but I did go to the Goya Park.


I had to oblige my mother when she asked if I would kneel behind the goya cut out. I think GoyaMan is kinda of cute. :)

A friend of mine suggested that I write in a journal. Weird as it may seem, I obliged. Although, I wish more of the tennis team was online...

School was uneventful. Same with tennis practise.We only had half practise today, due to bujutsu afterwards.

During bujutsu, I always leave my glasses with my clothes, as they tend to get broken when there's contact...anyway, I felt that familiar headache coming on, (when ever I squint for a long time) and after the 2 hours of practise, I was feeling very sick. Even after I had my glasses back, things seemed a little more blurry than usual. I think I need to go get my eyes check again.
